Results about to be out

Just heard news that results should be out on 30 May (Thurs).. Omg! Heart thumping away. This sem is considered one of the worst sem ever. I am praying very hard that I will clear all. I am so scared that I don't even dare to log in to school portals to check when results will be out, for fear that I might accidentally peak at the results which might not be what I expected.

For HRD, even though the percentage of clearing is not high, I still kept myself hoping that I can at least clear. I know that the drop back is too much that I have lack the confidence already. My classmate checked his. His standards are way much higher than us, and yet he only just passed his second assignment. So where does that placed us? I chose not to log in now to view the results. Rather I would prefer to wait until Thursday to view the results all at one shot. Tempted to check but I must hold myself back. 

My colleagues once talked about rewinding the times to the past, to before the chalet, so that we can still have fun and enjoy the long weekends. One of them said to rewind to December. If I could, will I have done things differently? The answer would be "Yes". I would. In terms of school, as well as other aspects. But all is already too late. What's done is done. I can only wait till Thursday to reveal the results. Let this be a lesson. Next sem should not be a repeat of this sem. I will make sure I put in more than 100% effort.

Came across this photo being posted on Facebook, which is something that is just totally me! I am the kind of girl that even though I am hurt, will not show a trace of being hurt, and still being able to act as per normal. 

Is that a good or a bad thing? Hmm..

HRS Appointment Team Bonding - 16 May 2013

That day actually felt like a Friday, where I kept thinking that the next day is a Saturday and I get to sleep till late. But no, the next day is a Friday and we still have to go to work:( 

But overall, it's a fun filled day! 

Mother's Day Celebration 2013

It's mother's day once again! Got some surprises for mum, with the help of my father:)

The greatest challenge faced was keeping the chewy junior "I Love You Mom" from my mum! Since the chewy junior will need to be kept in the refrigerator, she will surely have access to seeing it since the top cover of the box is transparent. Knowing that my mum will see, upon coming home, I cover up the top opening with paper and scotchtape it up. At least she will know it got something to do with mother's day, but won't have any idea on what's inside.:) 

We went to my father's friend house to celebrate mother's day together. Got all the mothers flowers, thanks to the help from my dad! Fun-filled bonding and mother's day celebration! Next up would be father's day! We were all talking about celebrating father's day and that it's hard thinking of what to get for guys. I then suggested getting our fathers to dress up as females and then we shall buy flowers for them. Haha. I even mention that I am giving them one month notice, so they can use this one month to find clothes to wear on that day:P

But then, I shall make this year father's day a great one for my dad! Need to start thinking of ideas.. Lacking of ideas on what to get for guys:( I guess I need to start thinking and planning. And also not missing out on the anniversary part too! Heh Heh!

6 May 2013 (Monday) not a Blue Monday after all!

I actually thought yesterday would be a blue Monday. But apparently not! I actually felt energetic and happy even before reaching office! Weird to the max!

It was then when we reached office then realized that the server is down and we are unable to perform work. Due to the server down and we are unable to do work, we are given early lunch! :) Happy happy happy:D 

We decided to go for Sushi Express at Citylink for lunch!

The Birthday Pranks Vs Plans!

Happy Birthday JiaJia! 

Went to Strangers Reunion, a cafe located at Kampong Bahru. The place was alright I guess.. Just that at first when we sat in the middle of the cafe, it was kinda noisy and hard to strike conversations. But when we shifted tables to the corner end eventually, it was better and quite comfy:) I guess this place will be a really really great place for chilling with friends over coffee when there's not much crowd. It's great for coffee lovers who want to satisfy their coffee addiction:)

Before heading to Strangers Reunion, me & QQ went to Grin Affair to get a cake for JiaJia. I decided to get his cake from Grin Affair since both Strangers Union and Grin Affair are located near Outram MRT. I have heard of this jarcake concept previously from my ex-colleagues, and have been meaning to visit it to try. Today I finally personally visited the shop and was impressed by it. It is really a very special gift for someone indeed:)

We actually checked with the staff on how long the cake can last outside without putting inside the fridge. Answer is: 1 hour.

Hahaha! Laugh at the pranks we ask him to do! We actually prepared 5 dares, but out of the 5, he have to randomly pick 3 to do. The photo taken showed 2 of the dares he had picked. Other than this 2, we also got him to do Kiyomi song.  Hahaha! Looking at the video we took, can't stop laughing!

I got this Kiyomi song inspiration from one of my colleague when I was telling them that I watched the "Ah Boys to Men 2" on CD, and Sergeant Ong was very cool! "Steady lah~!" Hahaha. My colleague then search for the video titled "The Epic Dance Off: Tosh Rock VS Ridhwan" which she came across previously and find it funny.

Updates for March & April 2013

It's been some time since i updated my blog. Hmm.. Last update was in February. Had been busy with projects then followed by exams. Finally exams finished so ta-dah! Here's the updates! :)

2 March 2013 (Saturday)

Went to Habitat Coffee with my colleagues:) It's a really great 2 storey chill-out place located at Upper Thomson Road where one can indulge in coffee and food (sandwiches, cakes, pastries, and pastas). The ambience there is not bad, and it's really cosy and quiet, definitely a place to catch up with friends! However, location might be a problem since it can be quite inaccessible.

Overall, it was worth going there, just the inaccessibility of the place. I will definitely go there for chilling again! :)

However, do take note of the operating hours:

21 April 2013 (Sunday)

Met up with SW & Val to celebrate Val's birthday! :) SW's intention to get Val to get on the rides at Clarke Quay! No way am I getting on top of that ride and fly to the sky. If there's any chance that I have to get on top of that ride, I am so gonna need to build up the huge level of courage - like the courage I had built up to go on board the ride at Genting which is to be dropped down from great height! Scarrrryyy to the max!!

But lucky for both Val & me, it was raining on that day. Means reducing the chances of us having to take that ride:P

In the end, we went for singing instead! :) The rides shall wait! :P

Had team lunch at Swissotel - Cafe Swiss! :) Eat full full before I go off on my study leave till end of the month! Hehehehe
