Train To Busan

Train to Busan starring in Singapore on 4th August 2016.
A blockbuster movie where a disastrous virus hits South Korea, turning everyone into zombies. And passengers on board the KTX train from Seoul towards Busan struggles to survive against the odds.

It's no longer safe for you have no idea if your loved ones/ random strangers around you are infected. Who can you trust? Would you work together to save the lives of others? Or you would do everything you can to save yourself at the expense of others?

Great movie to watch definitely! I even don't mind re-watching this!

Suspense Filled

Really tense and horrifying! Different from my perception of the usual zombies where they move in slow motion and all!

The unexpected waves of the zombies coming heads-on, the speed they are moving at, and the impact they created (what with the broken glasses and all). It makes you cringe for the survivors while seated on the movie seats! I recall myself saying "Faster run, run run" during the movie as well! HAHA!

Humanity Change

The father. A guy who initially just cares about himself more than others. Still recalling the first few scene where he did not understand why his daughter let up her space for a old lady, and only saving himself and his daughter and leaving others to fend for themselves. But after encounters with the deadly zombie attacks, himself and his daughter being saved, that's when you start to see the change!

Team Spirit & Bravery

You can see the bravery and team spirit that some encompasses especially the few of them in the image below. Of course there are also others.

You find yourself looking at them working together to fight for their lives and everyone's. The sacrifice they made to save their loved ones and others.

Sometimes, it's only at times of danger (away from the safe) that you start to see - who are the ones who truly care. And you might also see the change in people at times of danger (can be good and bad depending).

The main brave souls in the movie!

Selfishness

The person who sparked the anger of most. The Selfish Bastard - the one who only cared about himself. Someone who instigate other survivors against letting the brave group of survivors into the cabin - which resulted in a guy sacrificing his life to hold back the zombies, in order to save the others including his pregnant wife. The scene that starts pissing people off - if the selfish bastard had not been so selfish, all the 8 remaining survivors would have also been safe, and not having to let 2 of them died!

But the group of them who was instigated by the selfish guy got their own medicine when the zombies attacked and killed them (excluding the selfish guy and another guy who managed to escape by hiding inside the toilet).

Even more angry with the selfish bastard is with 3 other scenes where he used 2 other person to help himself survive. This kind of person is seriously not worth saving at all. People tried to help him, but he just throw the helping hand to fend for themselves and instead he himself just ran away to safety.

But glad that he got infected in the end. Though he infected a good soul in the end. Major sadness (not for the selfish guy definitely).

There~ the selfish guy! Really pissed me off.

Most Saddening Moment

Throughout the movie, you can see the bravery in people, the working together to fight against the zombie apocalypse, as well as the saddening moments of seeing your loves one sacrificing for other's safety, and being infected.

The final part where the girl lose her dad to the apocalypse is really mega saddening. I teared a lot at the final part! Especially when the girl cried and scream for her dad when she knew that she's going to lose him.

Saddening max... The thought of losing your loved ones or those whom you cared for.

A really great movie that's worth watching and one which I don't mind re-watching a few more times!

Pokemon Go #1

Been busy recently that didn't have the chance to complete drafting this post and posting out until now. It's a bit too late. But it's always never too late I guess? Heh heh.

As my post title mentioned, I think it's pretty clear what this post is about.
Yes~ it's regarding Pokemon Go!

Finally it's being released in Singapore on 06 Aug 2016 (Saturday)!

Been a long wait!! I had only just woke up that morning, to see my friends messaging to say that Pokemon Go is here. So there I was lying still half drowsy in bed, quickly downloading that app. HAHA! I would guessed that most of the people would have left bed and actively searching outside, wanting to catch them all.

But of course do be sure to be mindful of your surroundings and safety of yourself as well as others.

I  still can't find Pikachu anywhere though :(
But there's actually a trick in luring out the Pikachu. What you have to do is to avoid the 3 initial pokemons at the start. After avoiding 3 times, they will come back with a special friend - Pikachu! That's how you can get it. But I didn't choose that approach. So here I am, still trying my luck in finding one.

Exploring places in progress~

People hanging around places where lure modules are being activated. You can view where the lure modules are activated by looking at those points where there's pinkish sparkles (like in this image).

Another of my favourite <3

Keep meeting into this cutiepie that day :)

Unforgettable funny incident happening on 7 Aug (Sunday). I caught the pokemon below (that explains why I decided to post this picture). Me and my friend were walking around at the open area at the highest level of Nex - where they have the mini water playground area for kids.

Not that we were so engrossed in playing pokemon or anything - we were walking at the pavement area at the edge. But then we didn't notice just beside above us, there's a pail that's filling up with water and when it's filled, it will just splash down.

So we got a shock when some of the water actually landed towards us due to the impact. As I was nearer to the side, I got the most splash - or rather my bag. HAHA! If not for my bag, I would have gonna more of the water.

And best thing was I had just joked to my friend that maybe someone who's engrossed in pokemon might walk into this water playground and get themselves wet. Maybe if it's Pikachu, people might do that (maybe I will too). And the next moment, we got splashed! And we were not even walking inside!

Epic moment when we kinda jump! LOL.

Hatching of eggs! You never know what you might get. I heard some people got their rare pokemons from the eggs!!

Pikachu please come to me soon!
Can't imagine the day if I managed to find it.

And other than that, I still have yet to catch other pokemons as well! Slowly trying to catch em all! And also exploring the gym for battling. I still have no idea which team to join, so for the time being I am sticking to being factionless:P

Gardens By The Bay - Singapore Garden Festival 2016

Singapore Garden Festival 2016 is held at Gardens By The Bay for two weeks (23 - 31 July 2016).

Opening Hours: 10am - 10pm daily.

And the tickets for the Singapore Garden Festival also include the entry to Flower Dome as well! Nothing much that interests me at Flower Dome though - unless you are an avid fan of orchids. But it's seriously too over-crowded there to be able to really look around at the orchid displays and take pictures. Reason being - they didn't have much crowd control measures in place. So imagine everyone trying to squeeze inside that interior place! Seriously crazy~

But the Garden Festival is something worth visiting!

There's basically two entrances - one near the Lawn area while the other is near Bayfront MRT station (near to the entrance to Gardens by the bay. We drove hence parked at the carpark at the Lawn and here we go entering, despite the heavy pouring rain...

Gonna just post some of the pictures that I like from the whole experience here! There's a lot to choose from!!

Adding some greenery to your working desk - not a bad idea!
I like this feeling of being in touch with the nature yet at the same time, having the comfortable and relaxing touch to it.

A place to unwind after a long day at work? Might want to add in some chairs and tables for just a drink beside?

Probably my favourite picture of all so far!
It reminds me of stars! The little sparkles above and the spiral-like design, it kinda got me suck into the starry space!
p.s. I got a really weak spot for stars <3

And after exiting, you find yourself at the Marketplace - a place for flower-lovers to purchase their plants and flowers!

Came across this interesting concept of "Post-A-Garden" where it's a birthday card or some sort which you can send to someone. And they can actually peel off the card and plant it! The card is filled all over with 3 kinds of seeds so you just have to see how lucky you are - if the portion you tear out to grow contains which seeds.

Pretty interesting concept! A great gift for someone who is a plant-lover!

My favourite Man Tian Xing (Baby's Breathe)!
Didn't I said earlier that I got a weak spot for stars? HAHA!

Beautiful bouquet!

Frozen Flower which we got! :)

Overall, it's a really great experience despite the rain. But at least for the rain, it was not very hot that day. If I am not wrong, this is a yearly event. So I might go for it next year as well :) Who knows what new stuff I may see next year~

Ghostbusters

Friday movie date - Ghostbusters!
Starring four women who started ghost catching and investigating supernatural happenings and saving the people from the ghost invasion. A comedy that many would burst out in laughter during the movie.

Likewise as the many movies I watched, forever don't have the habit of reading up or watching the movie trailers, I find myself inside the cinema not knowing what I was getting myself into. HAHA! And one part really got to us, and had us jump! (partly not expecting it, while another part due to the sound effect).

Before the movie cheap thrills~ 7 of us and 5 of us drawing lots to see which is our "Ming zhong zhu ding" seats:P

Ghostbusters~ Really reminds me of my primary school days where a few of us actually forming the ghostbusters club! And for someone who is such a scaredycat, I have no idea what was I thinking back then :P

Those were the days, the crazy things we did! Can't help but miss the days back then~ Hah!

Memories.
