Afternoon Out Cycling @ East Coast Park

Been a while since I last went to East Coast Park to cycle. Since it's quite some distance from where I am staying at. So.. even though I like to enjoy the sea breeze etc, I seldom go there too. Until recently, where I went with my family and cousin.

Lucky it did not rain that day, and the afternoon wasn't exactly scorching hot. So it was pretty much a nice weather to be out cycling :)

Our bicycles rented (2 hrs and we got 1 more hour free) and ready to cycle off~

So at first we cycled the other direction for around 1 hour. Then break a while at McDonalds for some drinks before heading the other direction towards Marina Bay which was suggested by my brother.

The tiring part is the upwards slope. So my brother warned us to build up the momentum and speed when nearing the upwards slope. Otherwise you will have difficulty cycling upslope and might have to push your bike instead.

The view that welcomed us on the other side! :)

Did I also mentioned before that I am not a good 2-wheel bicycle rider? HAHA! Yes it's true. I always get injured when riding a 2-wheel bicycle.

This time round not excused also. But then this time round, it happened while I was dismounting the bicycle. LOL. Don't ask me why. I also have no idea! It just happened that I sort of lost my balance. Lucky my mum's stationary bicycle was beside so it kinda break my fall. But still ended with bruises.

Nevertheless, this is not going to stop me from riding the bicycle. I like the feeling of riding against the wind with nice scenery beside. I like the feeling of overtaking other people like the case of running (though I don't really run now). I like the feeling of forgetting about everything while riding the bicycle, just focusing on riding and enjoying the wind blowing. It does get my mind off things for a while.

Not sure when the next time will be :)
