Our Annual Gathering || 28 Nov 2015

And it's time for our annual gathering session - this time bbq again at my house downstairs! This time round we decided to hold it in the month of November. Since the last bbq held 2 years back was in December and was raining rather bad since it's the raining season. 

Afternoon started with me meeting "Master" for lunch and manicure at khatib then heading to AMK to meet the other girls for shopping for the items at ntuc. 

Picture taken in the shelter. we had just came down and was preparing to start bbq-ing first for ourselves when it started to rain:( Same scenario as 2 years back when we were stranded there in the cold and using the umbrella to shelter away from the rain.

Lucky for us, the rain finally stopped! 

Our group photo which we only remembered to take nearing the end. So it was missing RX! 

Playing card games. Everyone was afraid of the triple 7 since it will definitely appear. Just that we dunno who will kenna that. An unforgettable incident happened during the game. But of course this shall be my secret (不能说的秘密). Haha. Of course a few of us knew what happened. Just that not sure if the main lead knew anot. Hahaha! Super epic that I have no idea I had it in me. Must be the liquor:P hahaha. 

But overall it was a great gathering and catch up session! Looking forward to the next gathering:) 

Day 7 Taiwan Trip (Feb/Mar 2015) - Ximending | Taoyuan Airport | Singapore

Trip will soon come to an end. And that would be ending with this post:(

As our flight departing for Singapore is at 3.45pm, we only have until 12.30pm to do final shopping at Ximending before making our way to Taoyuan Airport.

Breakfast for the day was settled here, where we ordered their egg crepe and Dou Jiang.

Ta-dah~ Not too bad but it's quite oily. So not recommended for those who can't take oily stuffs early in the morning.

Our Trip is coming to an end :(

I really missed the trip! Definitely will want to visit Taiwan again! 

And of course, I would have to thank my friend for jio-ing me and for being my "tour guide". And also I know that I did get a lil angsty at certain times especially when I am feeling very tired. But overall, it was okay and we managed to get through those:) And I am glad for that! 

Day 6 Taiwan Trip (Feb/Mar 2015) - ShiFen | JiuFen | Keelung(MiaokouNight Market) | Ximending

Early start to our day since we will be travelling to Ruifang. It takes around 50 mins train ride from Taipei Main Station. And will take an additional 30 mins from Ruifang to ShiFen.

Here we are finally at ShiFen - a place where you can put sky lanterns. There's also many shops selling miniature sky lanterns that bears different wishes which you can choose and get for your friends and loved ones accordingly:) Different designs and different wishes!

While waiting for the next train, we went on to get some food:P

Saw online that people recommended to try the Fried Ice Cream at ShiFen. So here goes~

I like how it's hot and crispy on the outside with the ice cream inside! Shiok!!

Another Must Try over at JiuFen! Lai Grandma's Yam Balls

Not too bad. But of course my feedback for this might not be really accurate since I don't really take yam:P But the 口感 was not too bad!

And initially I thought I will have a chance to see the view from such a high place:( The view should be quite magnificent! Too bad I didn't managed to catch it since it was rather cloudy and foggy that day:(

A shop selling Pi Pa (枇杷)!
We heard of Pi Pa Gao in Singapore which people drink when they have cough. But then, for me, I have not tried drinking that before. LOL. But even though we have heard of Pi Pa Gao, we have not heard of just Pi Pa. Only know when our driver told us previously and just nice we come across this shop!

Great for Sore Throat and Cough. Very soothing since it got a minty after-taste. 

Thereafter, we proceeded to take a bus to Keelung (Miaokou Night Market). We were both so tired that we fell asleep and no one bother to even take note which stop we are supposed to alight. Let go only:P But not sure why, I suddenly woke up and I have no idea how to go about explaining my gut feeling. It's like my instinct had me asking the person which stop is this and if we are supposed to alight if we are heading for Miaokou Night Market. The person was not sure. So end up I woke my friend up and rushed forward to ask the bus driver instead. End up, it's the right stop!!! So my instinct was right! Phew~ if not, we would have missed the stop and heading for dunno where. Haha~ So if you ask me now where exactly I alighted at, seriously I do not have any idea also. LOL.

Pao Pao Ice

Peanut Flavored Pao Pao Ice. So-so only I feel. Nothing special. Popiah Ice Cream is still the best:P

Next up, would be to Singing at Partyworld @ Ximending! It's real cheap singing over there. And furthermore using student price. All you have to do is bring along your student pass. The student price offer for singing from 11pm onwards is NT305 for 3 hrs and free 3 more hrs! Which means you only have to pay around SGD $13 for 6 hours of singing! And what's more, the room is bigger as compared to Singapore. And it comes with a private toilet inside the room!

They actually occupy a whole building! This is something you don't get to see in Singapore. LOL

We get to sing till around 5am but then we only sang till around 3am. Too tired to continue. But we did sang lots of songs on that day. Sing until you drop literally.
