The Decision

There is no doubt that we have to make decisions in different aspects of life. And you will be amazed at how many decisions we all make in just an average day alone.

"Various online sources have estimated that a typical adult actually makes around 35,000 decisions in one day!"

This does not mean that all the decisions we make will affect our life drastically. In fact, most of the decisions we make daily are not even close to impact and change our life. And such are usually decisions like "What to eat", "What to wear", "Where to go", What to do", etc. They are not impactful on our life but they do, to a certain extent, affect our emotions and actions following the decision we make.

Nonetheless, there are some decisions to be made in our lives that are life-changers. There may be moments where you find that the ball is in your hands and it's your call. You have the choice. You decide where the ball will end up at. But sometimes, you just find yourself as a follower, having to move along with the ball in order not to be left behind. I guess in a way you can say that you do get a choice as a follower too? Since you get to choose if you want to follow along with it or to be left behind?

Regardless of the circumstances, it is always a tough process since there's of course the risks involved for every life-changing decision you decide to make. You will never know what the decision will bring, uncertain of whether it's the right or wrong decision made on your part. And not forgetting the uncertainty of having to step away/ out of your comfort zone. There's bound to be a lot of things going around inside your head - feelings of being worried, scared, anxious, and also feelings of anticipation.


But sometimes you just have to take the risk and venture out into the unknown to find out. Like someone said, we can't always stay put in our area of comfort. We need to step out into the unknown and make some changes and take risk. 

Hence, having said that, I have also made the decision after some consideration - the decision to step out of my comfort zone. Not that I had a lot of time to think through it as well since this whole thing just happen within such short notice, and sort of caught me offguard. Totally didn't expect this and also the timing of it coming along during this period as well. It is definitely quite a step to take with many uncertainties.

Since I have made up my mind, I got no turning back now. I can only look ahead and accept the change and overcome the challenges that comes along the way. Not sure how things will work out at this current juncture but I hope that everything will be fine.

Descendant of the Sun Drama Craze

One of the drama that's trending right now and pretty popular would be the Korean drama, Descendants of the Sun - the drama which had exceed the ratings of the popular korean drama "You who came from the Stars".  

And surprising as it is, some of the guys I know who don't usually watch korean dramas actually chase it too! And the reason they gave was because of the pretty actress such as Song Hye-kyo, and because of the storyline - military setting. Girls as usual needless to say, crazy due to the handsome actor, Song Joong Ki, and the sweet things he did that makes us go "Awwww <3".

Are you one of those who have the DOTS Syndrome?

I am definitely not one who can handle being kept in suspense. Hence I actually wanted to wait for all the episodes to be released before starting to chase this drama. But this thought deem as not possible with so many friends around me fantasizing and talking about the drama be it on social medias or real life. End up I gave in and started watching it! And ....I am hook!!!

Hooked by the chemistry between the song couple - Song Joong Ki & Song Hye Kyo!
Between the 2 couples in the drama, which couple are you rooting for? Blockbuster kind of relationship (Song Joong Ki & Song Hye Kyo) or the Melodrama kind of relationship (Jin Goo & Kim Ji Won)? Or are you like me, standing at the edges of both :P

In addition, this drama also cast the awesome bromance relationship between the 2 actors - Song Joong Ki & Jin Goo. Their interactions are pretty hilarious most of the time:D

Arghh! The feeling of being kept in suspense is just too much for me!!! End of the week please come fast!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumours vs Truth

Previously have been watching a drama. Basically this drama is about this particular girl who had the gift of seeing the problems faced by her customers by touching items belonging to that particular customer. So, one incident that was being screened in the drama really had me thinking. 

The scene is about two secondary classmates who ended up attending at the same company. Girl A was jealous of Girl B since her performance is better than herself and decided to do something to bring Girl B down. So what she did was to post anonymous gossips/ rumours about Girl B at their company online bulletin board. Purpose is to get everyone to be on her side. In the end, those who saw the online bulletin board really believed the rumours! 

How did it get resolved in the end? I am not going to blog all about what happen as it's going to take some time. Just to summarise, Girl A finally saw the light that what she did was really out of line - to write about something about a person and posting online in the bulletin board for all to see, and causing unnecessary misunderstandings. And the reason why she finally saw the light was due to a separate incident that had nearly caused herself to be misunderstood and become a victim. NEARLY because the girl with the gift had helped to resolve the problem. From that incident, she learnt to know how serious rumours can cause, she went to explain to the colleagues that the rumours are not true and even admitted what she had done and asking Girl B for forgiveness:) 

That's how powerful a particular post/ rumour can cause. Cause others who see it to believe and cause misunderstandings among people. Sometimes it might seem like it's nothing. But actually the damage will be caused since people will take it as it is. 

Rumours really spread faster and more violently as compared to truth. 

Just ask yourself this 2 qn:

1. Do you believe rumours more than the truth sometimes? 

2. And even when you know the truth, do you believe it on the surface? Or accept it totally?

There's no need for me to stress on it. But then I think you should have the idea of how powerful rumours can get.
